Yesterday, we showed off the Samsung’s next flagship device, the Galaxy S5 concept design with curved display and specs, where we did mention that the handset will feature a 4GB of RAM. Well, we don’t know about the other specs possibility, but one of the specs might turn out to be true i.e the Samsung’s next big thing, the Galaxy S5 could feature the first ever 4GB of RAM. According to reports by ZDNET Korea, Samsung will begin production of the new LPDDR4 chip sometimes in 2014 which means that if the production was completed in time, then there’s high possibility that the fifth-generation Galaxy, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will debut with the 4GB of RAM. Samsung has already announced today that they had developed the world’s first 8GB LPDDR4 RAM for mobile devices.
There are lot of rumors rolling out about the Samsung Galaxy S5 in couple of days. Some suggested that the Galaxy S5 will feature a 5.25-inch Super AMOLED display with an impressive density of 560ppi and also a metal body which will be far better than the plastic material. Samsung has also indicated that they will be announcing a new Exynos chipset in CES 2014, possibilities are that it could be new 64-bit Exynos chipset. More RAM for computing devices gives a smoother experience, but what about mobile devices? Is it necessary to have 4GB of RAM for a mobile handset? Leave your comments below. Stay tuned for more updates.
