The taste of Google’s latest Android operating system, the Android 4.4 KitKat arrived with their Nexus 5 and then the update started to follow the other devices including the Nexus family, the Google Play Edition , Moto X and many other devices and now, its the turn for the HTC high-end phones. Well, HTC high-end phones including the HTC One, the HTC One dual-SIM, the HTC One Max and the HTC One Mini are all set to receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update by January-February. All thanks to the tweet by a popular HTC ROM Developer LlabTooFer which says that “All new devices such as One,One DualSIM, One max, One mini will get 4.4.2 update in time frame January-February.”
This tweet is possible to be true as LlabTooFer seems to have quiet decent track record when it comes to HTC-related leaks. At the time of launch, HTC did mention that the HTC One will be getting the taste of Android 4.4 by January and even detailed about the entire software update process, developer edition and carrier-locked handsets. After receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat update, The Motorola devices such as the Moto X and the Moto G have already beaten up the HTC One with Android 4.3 update. So, this means we can expect a change in situation after the update arrives to the HTC devices. Check back to know about the Android update and stay tuned with us.
