It was a week back at the International Consumer Electronic Show 2014 when Sony announced their two new handsets, the Xperia Z1s and the Xperia Z1 Compact and it seems they have more Xperia handsets in their pocket to unveil in this month. Sony today officially announced the two new Xperia handsets, the Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia E1. The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra sports a large phablet-like display and comes in two variants: a normal single SIM variant and a “dual” model that will sport a dual SIM,, while both the models will remain identical in terms of specifications.
The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra features a 6-inch display with a 720p HD resolution. However, the Xperia T2 Ultra doesn’t feature a Full Hd resolution like the Xperia Z Ultra. As far as specs are concerned, the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8GB of internal memory storage which is expandable using a microSD slot. The Xperia T2 Ultra captures an impressive clear pictures with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera, and apart from it, the handset also guarantees a long battery life with 3,000mAh battery.
Designed specially for music lovers, the Sony Xperia E1 features a 4-inch display with an average resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. As far as specs are concerned, the Sony Xperia E1 is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 512MB of RAM. But as we said before that the handset is specially for music lovers, it comes with 100dB built-in speakers, Clear Audio+ mode and xLOUD software which will help Xperia E1 to offer a crystal clear audio. However, there are no words about the Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia E1 availability and pricing yet, but it is expected that Sony will share the information in coming Mobile World Congress 2014.
