Google unveiled a couple of Nexus devices earlier last week, along with there latest Android OS Lollipop. However, these devices have been in rumors for past couple of months and it seems they have arrived with impressive specs which includes the Motorola Nexus 6 phablet and the new Nexus tablet. Well, Google teamed up with the Taiwanese manufacturer, HTC and introduced the new Nexus 9 tablet. Like the Motorola Nexus 6, the HTC Nexus 9 will also come with the pre-installed taste of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The HTC Nexus 9 tablet boast an impressive specs and performance in terms of display, UI, battery and more.

Like the other HTC products, the Nexus 9 tablet also features a premium metal build around the device which makes it more rigid. The HTC Nexus 9 tablet has a 8.9-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and a screen ration of 4:3 similar to that of Apple iPads. This 4:3 ratio seems to be a better choice by Google when it comes in viewing webpages and documents, though it would be not good enough for video playback .
The HTC Nexus 9 tablet not just sport an amazing display, but also offers an impressive performance. Under the hood, the Nexus 9 features a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of built-in storage. With 64-bit processor, user can switch between apps, watch videos and tweak docs all at once. It also comes with 192-core Kepler GPU which is also a part of NVIDIA and rules at top of Adreno, Mali and PowerVR. The HTC Nexus 9 comes with HTC BoomSound speakers on the front, making it immersive, layered and distortion free for users.
On the camera side, the Nexus 9 features an 8MP rear-facing camera and 1.6MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps and the front camera of Nexus 9 is capable of recording 720p videos.
The HTC Nexus 9 comes with the sweet taste of the latest Android mobile OS, the Android 5.0 Lollipop which offers new features including more security, new UI and more. The latest Android surely boast the performance of the Nexus 9.
Connectivity and Other Features:
As far as connectivity is concerned, the HTC Nexus 9 features Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX, A-GPS + GLONASS, microUSB 2.0 support and a whopping 6,700mAh battery which ensures that the tablet last for long time. The HTC Nexus 9 will be available in two color options: Indigo Black, Lunar White, Sand.
To add more functionality to the tablet, Google has also launched a keyboard which can be magnetically attached to the Nexus 9. User can fold the keyboard in two different angles and thus can get the feel of a laptop too.
The HTC Nexus 9 tablet pre-order has already started from October 17th and will be shipping from November. The tablet will differ in terms of pricing: 16GB Nexus 9 will cost for $399, 32GB will cost for $479 while the LTE model with 32GB storage will cost for $599.
