Skype Launches A New Video Messaging App, Skype QikSkype has recently launched a new app that can run alongside Skype and provide a video chat experience called the Skype Qik, a new video messaging service. This new app is designed to effortlessly capture the moments through your smartphone camera, share the moments as well as chat with any of your friends in your contact list. Skype Qik is just another social networking app that allow users to share or connect in between the Skype calls with their family or friends.

With Qik, user can have a great chatting experience along with video call, which in turn can convert a short video call into a great one. Also, video messages can be swapped with friends on your contact list and alert them on the latest gossips. But one of the notable feature is that the user can erase any video sent from the chat irrespective of whether the video is watched or not. User can even block contacts on Android and Windows Phone in order to stop receiving messages.

What if user don’t have time to record a video message of his/her own? then here’s a simplest way– user can use Qik Flik which is just like a GIFs where a little 5 second video can be send on just a tap of your finger. This feature i.e. Qik Flik is available on Android and iOS devices and will arrive on Windows Phone in coming months.
