There has been a lot of rumors for a while on alleged Tizen based Samsung Z1 smartphone which seems to be arriving next month in India. However, it seems that Samsung has shown off this device at a secret launch event in India, and it had also revealed the full specs of this new Tizen based smartphone, the Samsung Z1. According to the leaked specs, the Samsung Z1 features a 4.0-inch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM and a 4GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB using a microSD card slot.
On the camera side, it features a 3MP rear-facing camera with LED flash for photos and videos and a VGA front-facing camera. Other leaked specs includes Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Dual-SIM support (3G), A-GPS support, 1,500mAh battery and runs on Tizen 2.3 as its OS out of the box. Samsung has also launched some smartwatches with Tizen based OS this year. If the rumors are true, then Samsung will be launching the Samsung Z1 in India on 18th of January, 2015.
