If you are in search of a new Chromebook, then you should know that Acer has recently announced a new Chromebook, the Chromebook 15 that features 15.6-inch display and which according to company, it is the industry’s first Chromebook with a 15.6-inch display. The Chromebook 15 will be available in two options: one that features a full HD display with a 1920×1080 resolution that ensures sharp and legible text as well as vivid, clear videos and photos, and a second option at a slightly cheaper price with the Chromebook featuring HD display with 1366×768 resolution. Both the options comes with Acer ComfyView displays that features the anti-glare properties which means user will have less strain on eyes.
The Acer Chromebook 15 will be powered with either 5th Generation Intel Core i3 processor or a next generation Intel Celeron processor which is based on Intel 5th Generation Core micro-architecture. This latest processors will also come paired with a solid state drive (SSD) for faster access of data. The Acer Chromebook 15 will be available with either a 16GB or 32GB SSD drive and either 2GB or 4GB of RAM. Although the Acer Chromebook 15 features a larger display, it weighs only 2.2kg (4.85 pounds) and measures only 393w x 256d x 24.2h mm.
Connectivity features includes fast MIMO 2x2Wifi 802.11ac which means three times faster wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port and HDMI port. The new Acer Chromebook 15 is a perfect companion with the ideal balance of large screen size, outstanding Chrome performance, sleek and a portable design. However, you have to wait till the new Acer Chromebook arrives as exact specifications, price and availability will vary with region.
