Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has entered the Indian market by launching the Nubia Z9 Mini this week. The phone is a mini variant of its current international flagship the Nubia Z9. The company has announced that the device will be Amazon Exclusive and will be selling for Rs 16,999.
The China based manufacturing company, OnePlus had already confirmed that OnePlus One will now be available without an invite. It confirmed it’s ending of the invitation system and pre-order period in April 2015, thus becoming globally available. In India the OnePlus One sells exclusively on Amazon. OnePlus One was reviewed as a ‘Phone of Dreams’ when debuted in April 2014. It started with a price of $299 for 16GB. Given that the OnePlus One launched a year back, it sure is time for the successor to be revealed.
Truecaller is well known for its application which identifies telemarketers or spammy numbers has now made a big move. On May 7, it made an announcement of a Global Partnership with Cyanogen OS. The Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen has got an official price cut today, this is the second price cut since its launch in India. Motorola has initially launched only the 16GB version here for Rs. 31,999 as an online exclusive product. The 32GB variant of the device was launched a couple of months at Rs. 32,999 while the 16GB got a price cut to Rs. 29,999. Today Motorola slashed the prices of these devices by 3000 rupees getting the 16GB down to Rs 26,999 and the 32GB variant to 29,999.
