TP-LINK AC1750 Enterprise Dual Band WiFi Access Point With PoE Launched [CES 2014]

TP-LINK AC1750 Enterprise Dual Band WiFi Access Point With PoE Announced [CES 2014] TP-LINK, the global networking giant has recently unveiled their first AC1750 Enterprise Dual Band WiFi Access Point with Power over Ethernet, called the EAP320 at CES 2014. This particular Access Point (AP) supports the latest 802.11ac standard, offering up to 1750Mbps of available bandwidth along with simultaneous 2.4GHz 450Mbps and 5GHz 1300Mbps.

Using 802.11ac standard, the EAP320 has the capability to support an impressive number of bandwidth-intensive and latency-sensitive applications while its PoE capability provides a flexible deployment without the need to run an additional electrical wiring.

The TP-LINK EAP320 comes with an intelligent centralized management system that facilitates the configuration and managements of multiple Access Points (APs). Also, there is no need for any manual synchronization as a single Access Point will be dynamically selected by the wireless controller which then automatically distributes the network configuration to other Access Points in the WLAN.

The TP-LINK EAP320 has an Automatic Channel Assignment feature that dynamically allocates access point channels as per automatic testing results and thereby avoiding the conflicts due to channel interference while optimizing the capacity and performance of your wireless network.

The Captive Portal lets administrators to control wireless access via an authentication process, while the network users will have to agree to  an acceptable use policy that is set by the network administrator, or enter a user ID and password which must first be validated against a database of authorized users. There are no word about its pricing yet but the product will be available in the third quarter of 2014. Stay tuned for more updates.
