Samsung Introduces SE790C Curved Monitor Samsung has recently unveiled a new and more advanced curved monitor, the Samsung SE790C. The new Samsung SE790C is capable of delivering an enhanced immersive and comfortable viewing experience for multimedia entertainment and multitasking. The Samsung SE790C features a 34-inch curved display that has an optimized curvature design, an ultra-wide quad high definition (Ultra-WQHD) resolution of 3,440×1,440 pixels and a super contrast ratio of 21:9. Unlike flat screen monitors, the Samsung SE790C curved monitor creates a distortion-free viewing experience with less eye strain and more enhanced comfort for viewer. The SE790C has a curvature radius of 3,000mm (3000R) and its optimal curved design creates a high 3D-like effect ratio that makes the screen look larger than flat screen of the same size, which in turn also increases 3D like-effect.

Samsung Introduces SE790C Curved Monitor

The Samsung SE790C curved monitor is a perfect package for productivity and entertainment with enhanced multi-tasking, gaming and movie watching experience. The extra-wide viewing angle of 178 degrees horizontally and vertically optimizes the viewing experience allowing users to view from any position and minimizes picture distortion. The monitor has four USB 3.0 super-charging ports to eliminate the need for a docking station and establish connection with other devices. However, there are no information on pricing and availability yet, but it is expected to be revealed in upcoming CES 2015 in Las Vega. Stay tuned for more updates.
