HP Zvr Virtual Reality Display Unveiled [CES 2015]You might have seen in movies like Avatar and Star Trek where people interact and manipulate the objects using gestures such as hand signs, but have you thought what would you do if that comes to reality. Isn’t it awesome to feel something like it?  Well, HP has arrived with one of its kind at this International Consumer Electronic Show 2015, the HP Zvr Virtual Reality Display. With this new Zvr Virtual Reality Display, HP has showed a new leap in monitor technology that allows users to work with 3D models and projects or one can say like controlling Holographic images.

Powered by zSpace technology, the HP Zvr Virtual Reality Display features a 23.6-inch display with Full HD 1080p resolution and an anti-glare coat for use in low-light environment. The HP Zvr has a 3D stereoscopic parallax display that allows direct interaction with the devices. With the Hp Zvr, user can manipulate the objects displayed on monitor either spinning, rotating or opening them with ease. The Hp Zvr comes with a pair of 3D glasses and four internal IR cameras that lets track the movement of user’s head and manipulation of display with real-time parallax processing.

Connectivity features includes a DVI-D input, a 1.2 HDCP-ready Display Port and three USB 2.0 ports to connect with different peripherals.  The HP Zvr comes with a standard 3 year warranty and will be available sometimes in spring 2015. However, there are no information on its pricing yet, but you can’t expect such a display to come with an affordable price tag. Stay tuned for more updates.
