JVC Everio Rugged Weather-Proof Camcorders Announced [CES 2014]

JVC today announced a new series of Everio camcorders at the International Consumer Electronic Show 2014. These Everio camcorders are rugged or you can say that they are immune to many elements including dust, water, shock and even freeze, and thus make a complete companion for any adventure. The JVC Everio camcorders comes in two models i.e GZ-R70 and GZR-10, featuring JVC’s quad-proof structure which makes it water resistant upto 5m and also withstand drops from as high as 1.5m.

The JVC camcorders are not only rugged, but also weather proof, allowing user to capture a full 1080p HD in temperatures as low as –10˚C/14˚F. JVC claims that these two Everio camcorders battery can last as good as for 4.5 hours (on a single charge). Apart from being rugged and weather-proof, the JVC Everio camcorders features 40x optical zoom, a 2.5 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS image sensor, an audio that zooms along with the picture as well as compatibility with popular editing softwares such as Final Cut Pro X and iMovie.

JVC camcorders are equipped with FALCONBRID engine that facilitates efficiency in processing of audio and video by delivering optimum images and sound. With the help of K2 technology, the Everio camcorders can restore the sound during playback very effectively and prevent unwanted elements from spoiling the soundtrack.

The JVC GZ-R70 comes with 32GB internal storage and a built-in LED light and will be available from April 2014 at price of $499.95, while the JVC GZ-R10 will arrive in three colors i.e black , blue and red at a price of $399.95. Stay tuned for more updates.
