Olympus OMD E-M10 Officially Announced
Olympus has officially announced their latest camera, the Olympus OMD E-M10. As far as specs are concerned, the Olympus OMD E-M10 features a 16MP Live MOS camera which appears to be same found in the OMD E-M5, and a TruePic VII image processor, the same one found in the OMD E-M1. It seems Olympus has introduced their best technology of the predecessor in the OMD E-M10.
Other features includes a 3-inch LCD display which can be tiled, a high speed electronic viewfinder, 3-axis image stabilization, fast AF, a built-in popup flash and a more premium like metal body which feels nice on hands as compared to the plastic. However, the OMD E-M10 was expected to be announced at CP+, but we guess that Olympus don’t want their latest edition to be overshadowed by the others.
Olympus OMD E-M10 will be available from the early February 2014, and will be accompanied with a body-only and a lens kit version to choose from. The OMD E-M10 body-only version will be priced at £529.99, while the one with the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ lens will be priced at £699.99. Stay tuned for more updates.
