After the announcement of the HTC Desire 610, HTC today unveiled another handset called the HTC Desire 310 which is designed to target the low-mid ranged market with “maximum value” features. The all new HTC Desire 310 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display screen with 480×854 resolution, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 4GB of internal memory storage which is expandable using a microSD card.
Other specs includes a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2,000mAh battery and has got the taste of the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system. HTC desire 310 comes with the HTC BlinkFeed features which was first introduced with the HTC One, allow users to bring all their favourite content directly to the home screen.
Also, using Video Highlights feature, pictures and video clips saved on your phone can be automatically turned into a professional-looking show reel of your best moments. It seems that HTC has decided not to give a front-facing camera to the HTC Desire 310, which will be one of the reasons to keep its price low.
The HTC Desire 310 will be arriving in two variants: single SIM and dual-SIM variants. However, there are no words about its pricing yet, but the handset will be made available in Taiwan this April. HTC has not yet mentioned about its availability for other regions. Stay tuned for more updates.
