LG To Unveil World’s First 34-Inch 21:9 UltraWide Monitors At CES 2015
Many tech giants will be unveiling there latest innovative technologies in this coming CES 2015 which will be taking place from January 6-9 in Las Vegas, and it seems that the South Korean tech giant LG are all set to showcase their new 21:9 UltraWide monitor lineup at this International CES 2015, which includes a 21:9 Gaming monitor and a 21:9 inch Curved monitor. LG is among the leading giants when it comes to monitor segments, televisions and displays. LG 34UM67 will be the world’s first UltraWide Gaming Monitor which comes with AMD FreeSync technology that aims at providing a graphics-intensive experience to gamers.
This AMD FreeSync technology will eliminate the screen tearing that occurs when the monitor and graphics card are out of sync and also, guarantees the smoothest and most seamless gaming experience, generating fluid motion without any loss of frame rate. This UltraWide Gaming monitor with the display size of 34-inches comes with the support of 21:9 resolution. LG 34UM67 has an exceptional UltraWide field of view (FOV), which allows gamers to reveal hidden spaces which were not visible on regular 21:9 monitors.
LG will also be showcasing the world’s first Curved 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide Monitor i.e. LG 34UC97 which features a Quad HD resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. This UltraWide Curved Monitor is designed to enhance the experience of creative professionals. The Curved Monitor is also designed to improve the gaming experience of the users. LG 34UC97 UltraWide Curved Monitor features a 178-degree viewing angle of the In-Plane Switching (IPS) display which recreates colors across over 99 percent of the sRGB color space.
Another display in the lineup is the 21:9 Curved UltraWide Multi-Display with Model no 34UC87M that will provide various multiple-display set-up options, raising productivity levels for stock traders and other financial professionals who can keep track on large amounts of data simultaneously. This display model will be useful for trading workstation or a large dashboard to display charts, quotes or pending orders on each screen.
“LG’s premium 21:9 UltraWide monitors are designed with the unique needs of consumers in mind,” said In-kyu Lee, senior vice president and head of the TV and monitor division at the LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company. “The industry has come a long way from the days when one display design was thought to be suitable for all users. With the amount of time we spend in front of monitors, there’s a lot of room for specialized monitors in our lives.”
