Lenovo Smart Assistant Is Amazon Alexa Powered Digital Personal Assistant [CES 2017]
Apart from introducing the Smart Storage solution, Lenovo also has arrived with another Smart solution device called the Lenovo Smart Assistant at CES 2017. The Lenovo Smart Assistant is a digital personal assistant that comes powered by Amazon Alexa cloud-based voice services. It has been designed to recognize users voice commands and use Amazon Alexa to make web searches, play musics, create lists, provide calendar updates and more.
The Lenovo Smart Assistant can simply be described as a voice-controlled high-definition speaker having a 5W Treble and a 10W Woofer. It comes built with eight 360-degree far-field microphones with noise suppression and acoustic echo cancellation that has been designed to ensure users voice commands are picked up from 16 feets i.e. 5 meters away. Also, the Lenovo Smart Assistant comes with a special Harman Kardon edition that offers premium audio quality experience for music and entertainment.
As far as specs are concerned, the Lenovo Smart Assistant comes powered by an Intel Celeron N3060 processor, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Other features includes 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, one trigger and one volume control button. This latest smart device will be available in three colors: Orange, Harman Black and Light Gray. The Lenovo Smart Assistant will be priced at $129.99 while the Harman Kardon Edition will be priced at $179.99 and both the devices will be available by coming May this year.
