Samsung New LED Smart Bulbs Announced
Samsung has recently announced a new range of LED Smart bulbs which will be launching at Light+Building 2014, an architecture and technology trade fair which will be taking place in Frankfurt, Germany this week (from 30th March to 4th April). These new range of LED Smart bulbs are designed for both B2B and B2C markets.
The new LED Smart bulbs utilizes Bluetooth technology instead of Wi-Fi technology for controllable lighting and removes the need for a bridge and wireless Access Point. This new LED Smart Bulbs can be controlled by connecting directly from a smartphone or a tablet or PC. The new LED Smart bulbs (up to 64) can be accessed and controlled by installing an application on your device, without any need of additional equipment.
The dimness of these Smart Bulbs can be reduced to 10 percent brightness and are CCT tunable from 2700K(arm white) to 6500K(cool white). Each of the Smart Bulbs comes with a lifetime of 15,000 hours or 10 years. These Samsung LED Smart bulbs will be available in three ranges, including CCT tunable Smart bulb, Smart PAR-Series bulb and ECG-CCG compatible L-tibe lights.
