HTC Desire 826 5.5-Inch Smartphone With Android Lollipop Announced [CES 2015]
HTC has recently announced a new mid-ranged Android smartphone at CES 2015, the HTC Desire 826. The HTC Desire 826 comes powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and the sweet taste of latest Android 5.0 Lollipop as the operating system. The HTC Desire 826 is the first Desire to get Android Lollipop out of the box. As far as specs are concerned, the HTC Desire 826 features a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, a 64-bit processor clocked at 1.7GHz, a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable using a microSD card slot.
On the camera side, the HTC Desire 826 features a 13MP f/2.0 rear-facing camera with single LED flash for capturing photos and videos and a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing camera which allows user to take more better and brighter selfies even in low-light conditions. The handset measures 158 x 77.5 x 7.9 mm, and weighs about 183 grams. Other features includes Wifi, Bluetooth, two nano-SIM card slots with both supporting LTE connectivity and a 2,600mAh battery. The HTC Desire 826 will arrive in four different color options and will launch soon in China and other Asian markets later this month. However, there are no more information on it pricing and its availability in the US and the Europe markets. Stay tuned for more updates.
