Skype Twitter Account Hacked, Anti-Microsoft Status Remained For 2 Hours

Skype Twitter Account Hacked, Anti-Microsoft Status Remained For 2 HoursIts only a day since the 2014 started and we have a number of security issues. Earlier reports claimed that Snapchat was hacked, which compromised some 4.6 million user names and phone numbers in the process and now, its seems that Microsoft’s Skype Twitter account has been hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army. The hacking suspects took over the account and tweeted several posts on Anti-Microsoft sentiments. However, this is not the first time when the Syrian Electronic Army hacked the website/blog, there past successful hacks includes Twitter, The Financial Times and  even The Washington Post. The recent fake tweet which was posted on Skype Twitter account, advised three million Skype’s followers to stop using Microsoft’s services.
