Lenovo ThinkPad 8 Unveiled [CES 2014]
Well, the CES 2014 has already started in Las Vegas and it seems Lenovo has started to unveil their new products. Lenovo today, announced a new tablet featuring Windows 8.1, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 comes as a portable device with the ability to connect to a keyboard and provide a full PC experience. It can be used in a Tablet Mode which allows users to connect the device to optional keyboard base, dock or monitor for Desktop Mode or with the help of the flipping the optional Quickshot cover, the ThinkPad 8 can also be used in a tent Mode providing an efficient videos and photos experience.
The ThinkPad 8 seems a lot to do with the number “8”. Apart from featuring Windows 8.1, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a 8.3-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, along with the support of multi-touch. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is powered with 2.4GHz Intel Trail Quad Core processor,2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, Intel HD graphics and 128GB of onboard storage. The ThinkPad 8 also features an 8MP rear-facing camera and 2MP front-facing camera, along with the connectivity which includes the Wi-Fi support, a microUSB 3.0 port, a microHDMI slot, LTE connectivity, Miracast technology and battery life up to 8 hours.
The ThinkPad will be available in 3G as well as 4G models and will start shipping from end of January with a price of $399 and will be configurable with the top-selling models which will be starting at a price of $429.
