Roku TV Unveiled [CES 2014]

Roku already offers the most popular streaming players in America to TVs, and now they have introduced the actual TV, the Roku TV. The Roku TV is designed to provide consumers a simple and powerful entertainment experience in today’s connected world. It offers different experience when compared to today’s smart TVs.

Roku TV has removed all of the complicated layers and menus, including the unnecessary features and settings from the TV, and introduced a new Roku home screen that merge all content sources into a single screen and thus, provide you with full access to the Roku TV store which has over 31,000 movies and 1,200 channels that  includes TV shows and live sports, news, music, kids, food, science, tech, fitness, foreign language and other programming.

Roku TV features just 20 remote-control buttons which is just half the number of buttons present in the traditional TVs. This means, consumers are provided with only necessary controls with the Roku TV. As far as speaking of controls are concerned, the Roku TV offers navigation via mobile devices with the Roku app for iOS or Android, along with supporting casting standards including DIAL. No need to worry for Roku lovers as they will be made alongside Roku TVs. This must be a great way to start a new year for Roku as Roku did achieve many milestones in the previous year. Stay tuned for more updates.
