Google To Unveil Nexus 8 Tablet And Android 4.5 In July
It was last year when Google launched the Android 4.4 KitKat OS and the highly-anticipated Nexus 5, and since then the Android 4.4 KitKat is rolling out in other manufacturers high-end devices. However, it seems that Google is planning to make some new announcement this year, which includes the next-version of Android, the Android 4.5 and the Nexus 8 tablet.
Thanks to the folks over Android Geeks whose insider source told that Google will not be announcing their next version mobile OS and the next Nexus 8 tablet in the I/O 2014 developer conference which will be taking place in June 25-26, but instead they will be announcing Google Nexus 8 tablet and Android 4.5 OS in the month of July this year. The source even confirmed that the Google’s I/O conference will be just for their plans on bringing new services on the market.
Due to high competition in terms of 7-inch tablet, Google will be focusing on 8-inch tablet where they won’t be having much competition. Well, 8-inch tablet itself indicate that the next Nexus 8 tablet will be featuring an 8-inch display. However, Google did announce the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in the month of July, so we can expect them to consider the same month this year.
If rumors are true, then we can expect the alleged Nexus 8 tablet to arrive with the taste of Android 4.5 OS. What will be the name of Android 4.5? Will it be same as previous version? What do you think? Stay tuned for more updates.
