So, we have cameras unveiled before the CP+ event and this time, its Nikon announcing a series of new Coolpix cameras. We all know that there will be many manufacturers making their announcement at the CP+ event, and at the due time Nikon’s camera might be overshadowed by other manufacturer’s cameras, so showing off the new series of cameras before the announcement may provide a bit of competition to stay ahead. Nikon today unveiled a series of new Coolpix cameras, the  Coolpix P600, Coolpix P530, Coolpix PS9700, and the Coolpix P340.

  • Nikon Coolpix P600

Nikon Coolpix P600 Announced

The Nikon Coolpix P600 comes with a built-in zoom lens which provides a great zoom with 24-1440mm. The camera comes with a packed lens-shift vibration reduction, 7fps continuous shooting, Full HD 60i video recording, a high-resolution LCD display, and will also come with WiFi built into the camera to allow for wireless transfer of photos and videos. The Nikon Coolpix P600 will be priced at $499.95 and will be available from this 27th of February.

  • Nikon Coolpix S9700

Nikon Coolpix s9700 AnnouncedThe Nikon Coolpix S9700 is also a zoom camera but it does not extend as far as the Coolpix P600. The S9700 comes with a built-in 30x optical zoom lens which is a 25-750, 35mm equivalent which Nikon camera comes packed into a compact body. The S9700 also boast a built-in WiFi like S9700 and also the GPS connectivity.

The Coolpix S9700 comes with a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor with a hybrid VR image stabilization feature for stable video recording along with 3-inch OLED display. Th Nikon Coolpix S9700 will be priced at $349.95 and will be available by the end of this February.

  • Nikon Coolpix P530

Nikon Coolpix P530 AnnouncedAppears quiet similar to DSLR-like design and Coolpix P600, the Nikon Coolpix P530 features a bridge-styled camera with a 16MP sensor on board, a zoom lens that will extend from 24-1000mm and comes with an aperture of f/3.0-5.9. Like other Coolpix mentioned before, the Coolpix P530 will also feature Nikon’s vibration reduction technology, and will offer an electronic viewfinder, a 3-inch LCD display, manual exposure control, and Full HD video recording as well. The Nikon Coolpix P530 is priced at $449.95 and will be available from this 13th of February.

  • Nikon Coolpix P340

Nikon Coolpix P340 AnnouncedAppears similar to the Coolpix S9700, the Nikon Coolpix P340 is not a zoom camera like the ones mentioned above. The Nikon Coolpix features a 24-120mm lens and has a brighter aperture compared to the rest at f/1.8-5.6, which seems to be great especially in low-light conditions where you don’t require flash.

The Nikon Coolpix P340 comes with built-in WiFi and a lens ring that allows you to use it to tweak settings instantly, such as manual focus, shutter speed, ISO and many more, depending upon what you set. Th Nikon Coolpix captures RAW images which are easily-editable. Also, the camera is quiet handy and fits easily in our pocket. The Nikon Coolpix P340 is priced at $379.95 and will be available from this 27th of February.
