HTC Butterfly S Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update Rolling Out

It was in December when Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update along with Sense 5.5 UI started rolling out on HTC Butterfly S, and now it seems the latest Android update i.e. Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is rolling out on the handset. The report was confirmed by the LlabTooFeR, an HTC ROM developer that the the latest Android KitKat update is rolling on the HTC Butterfly S by a screenshot of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update screen.

The update includes the best taste of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS such as restyled status bar icons, improved messaging capabilities with the ability to select Hangouts as the default SMS/MMS app and also, the loud Print Service, several security enhancements, removal of support for web browser flash player and more.

The HTC Butterfly S handsets are receiving an OTA (Over The Air) update which means users will be notify once it arrives in your handset. The update size is almost 736MB, so it will be best to go with a WiFi connection for downloading the update. After upgrading your phone to Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, your HTC Butterfly S software version will be updated to 3.06.708.3.
