Toshiba Launches The World’s Fastest microSD Card

Toshiba Launches The World's Fastest microSD CardMore the speed, more faster is the work done. Well, Toshiba has recently launched a new microSD card, which according to company’s claim is the world’s fastest microSD card. Toshiba’s new microSD card is the first microSD card to meet the UHS-II interface standard i.e the ultra high speed serial bus interface.

The Toshiba’s new UHS-II microSD card comes in two variants: 64GB and 32GB. The Toshiba UHS-II 64GB offers a maximum read speed of 260MB/s and a maximum write speed of 240MB/s, while the UHS-II 32GB offers a maximum read speed of 145MB/s and a maximum write speed of 130MB/s, which has an 8x write speed improvement and 2.7x read speed improvement compared to their 32GB microSD UHS-I card.

These means that the faster transfer speeds reduce the time to download large data movie and music files in your smart phones and tablets, and enable camera users to shoot high resolution digital still images in a continuous high speed shooting mode. These new Toshiba microSD cards are UHS Speed Class 3(U3) enabled and allows a high-quality 4K video capture at constant minimum write speeds of 30MB/s.

This meas that 4K2K video live broadcast and content can be recorded on high-performance cameras. For more information, visit the official website. Stay tuned for more updates.
