HTC Desire 820 64-bit Android Smartphone Officially Announced [IFA 2014]
We have already heard rumors and leaks on HTC working on a 64-bit Android smartphone and it seems that the smartphone is finally official. Well, HTC has officially announced the new 64-bit Android smartphone, the HTC Desire 820 which claims to deliver exceptional speed on a big screen. As far as specs are concerned, the HTC Desire 820 features a 5.5-inch stunning HD display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and comes powered by a more powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor, 16GB internal memory and 2GB of RAM.
With Snapdragon 615 processor under the hood, the HTC Desire 820 provides lightning-fast Cat 4 4G connectivity at 150mbps and along with an integrated LTE modem, the music and video streaming can be done smoothly and effortlessly. Apart from speed and display, the HTC Desire 820 comes with a 13MP rear-facing camera with backside-illuminated sensor for capturing incredible images in daylight and low light conditions and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
The device also comes with front stereo speakers and two powerful, dedicated amplifiers of HTC BoomSound. However, pricing of HTC Desire 820 is not yet revealed, but HTC promises to make it affordable to customers. The HTC Desire 820 will go on sale in China from later this month and will arrive in other regions from early October. Stay tuned for more updates.
