ZBoard, the electric skateboard has arrived once gain and this time, its the successor ZBoard 2. The company has recently announced the successor of ZBoard, the ZBoard 2 at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas and as per company claims the ZBoard 2 is the more lighter and faster, long running weight sensing electric skateboard ever. ZBoard 2 comes in two models, the Blue and Pearl Editions. Th ZBoard 2 Blue Edition has a range of 16 miles/charge and weighs 16 pounds whereas the ZBoard 2 Pearl Edition has a range of 18 miles/charge and weighs 18 pounds. On comparison to the other electric skateboard in the market, the ZBoard 2 has two, three or even four times the range of the others.

Both the skateboards can reach speed up to 20mph and comes with a new 500W brushless motor which makes it more faster, more powerful and more efficient than all its previous ZBoard motors. Not only that, the brushless designs also allow its user to push the ZBoard when the battery expires or is turned off. There are waterproof connectors on the ZBoard 2 that let it prevent from getting any damage on wet surfaces especially to the electronic components. The new ZBoard’s come with LED headlights and taillights which makes it easy for you to use it in night.

If the battery is about to diminish, the multi-color LED ring surrounded to the ZBoard’s power button changes color automatically. The ZBoard 2’s charger is capable of recharging the ZBoard 2 from 0-100% in just 90 minutes of time. As far as pricing is concerned, the Blue Edition will retail for $999 and the Pearl Edition will retail for $1,999. There is a crowdfunding campaign launched on Indiegogo and those who pledge early will get $100 of on both models.Th ZBoard is expected to be available in the US, Asia, Europe, Australia and other region from March 2015.
