Apple Offers iSight Camera Replacement For iPhone 6 Plus Users
If you are an iPhone 6 Plus user and facing some issues while taking photos (photos are looking blurry), then the reason might be there’s some defect in your camera. According to reports, Apple has recently determined that a small percentage of iPhone 6 Plus devices has a defective component in the iSight camera that is causing the photos to look blurry. These affected units falls into a limited serial number range and are the devices that were sold between September 2014 and January 2015.
Well, if you are facing same issue with your iPhone 6 Plus, then you can check your phone’s eligibility through its serial number. Apple has introduced a support website that includes “a serial number checker” which checks the eligibility for the iSight Camera replacement program. To check your iPhone’s serial number, go to Settings -> General -> About. If your phone falls in the eligibility program, then Apple will replace your device’s iSight camera for a free of charge.
Note: This replacement applies to only iPhone 6 Plus users who are facing the same issue in the eligible serial number range. Please make sure to take a backup of your data to iTunes or iCloud, before handing your device for the replacement process. Stay tuned for more updates.
