Asus Announces VR Ready Compact Desktop PC, the VivoPC X
If you are searching for a VR ready compact PC in market, then you will be pleased to know that Asus has recently announced a new compact desktop PC, the VivoPC X. The Asus VivoPC X has been designed such that it can be easily moved or can be connected to a monitor or TV. The new VR ready Asus VivoPC X is a Windows 10 powered computer weighing just under 5 pounds that comes powered by Intel’s Kaby Lake Core i5 processor along with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. If these specs don’t excite you, then you will be glad to hear that Asus has loaded Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphic card inside it to give more powerful virtual reality experience.
On the back side, the VivoPC X features four USB 3.1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports for VR accessories and controllers along with two HDMI ports and a Display Port. Asus has added a side vents in the VivoPC X that circulate air inside and also, a special heat pipe to keep heat away and make it cool. This Asus VR ready compact desktop PC will be available from March this year at a price of $799.
