Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet Announced [CES 2017]
In addition to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and the ThinkPad X1 Yoga, Lenovo had also announced the new ThinkPad X1 Tablet at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. Like others, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet comes with powerful performance, flexibility and speed. The ThinkPad X1 Tablet 2017 is a 12-inch Tablet with 2-in-1 uncompromised design making it a full-sized laptop or a detachable keyboard. Like other X1 2017 lineup, the X1 Tablet is configured to test against 12 military-grade requirements and has passed more than 200 quality checks.
As far as specs are concerned, the Lenovo ThinkPas X1 Tablet comes with a 12-incg QHD IPS display powered by the latest Intel i7 7th generation processor, 16GB of DDR3 RAM and 1TB of SSD OPAL2 PCIe-NVMe M.2 storage. It has a stylus attched to make notes, draw sketches, latest designs or sign documents. The ThinkPad X1 Tablet has a biometric authentication feature with a fingerprint reader, an *MP rear-facing camera for recording videos and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats or selfies.
User can use an optional extrenal keyboard while on the othere hand, Lenovo has added a presenter module which is just like a projector that projects a display up to 60-inches. The X1 Tablet modules offer port expansion and up to 5 hours extra battery life. The ThinkPad X1 Tablet is priced at $949 and will be available from this March 2017. Stay tuned for more updates.
