The S-Health app comes with personal-fitness tracking tools including the pedometer, diet and exercise records, and a new, built-in heart rate monitor. The world’s first heart-rate monitor for smartphone works with the help of the camera LED flash.

Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a new fingerprint scanner, that provides a secure and biometric screen and also safe mobile payment experience to users. The Galaxy S5 also let password protect files and text messages with the fingerprint.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a 2,800mAh battery (larger than 2,600mAh of the Galaxy S4), which means the 20% more battery power than its predecessor. Also, there are many software optimization inside the device to improve the battery life. The Galaxy S5 comes with an Ultra Power Saving Mode feature turns the display to black and white, and shuts down all the unnecessary features to minimize the battery consumption. This seems to be a good feature especially when your battery is about to die.
