Sony Xperia Z3 And Z3 Compact Officially Announced [IFA 2014]
After number of leaks and rumors, Sony has recently announced their latest flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia Z3 at IFA 2014. Sony had announced two versions: the Xperia Z3 which will lead the Sony’s smartphone flagship for next half of the year and the Xperia Z3 Compact which will be a smaller version of Xperia Z3. Sony fulfilling all the promises has introduced a new standard for smartphone experience without compromising in performance.
As far as specs are concerned, both Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact comes powered with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card slot.
Both Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact features 20.7MP rear-facing camera with 1/2.3 Exmor RS mobile image sensor with BIONZ image processing technology that helps to deliver high quality of photos with stunning details and also, Sony’s new 25mm wide-angle G lens that allows to capture super clear 4K resolution at four times Full HD. The rear-facing camera also comes with ISO 12800 sensitivity 5 that provides better details even in low-light conditions and on the front, there is a 2.2MP camera for selfies and video chats.
The only difference in both the smartphones are in terms of display, the Xperia Z3 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display while the latter Xperia Z3 Compact will feature 4.6-inch 720p HD display. Both the smartphone will come with an IP65 and IP68 for dust and water proofing and will be the only smartphones that will feature “PS4 Remote Play”. Both Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact will come with taste of latest Android 4.4 KitKat as the operating system. However, there are no pricing revealed yet, stay tuned with us for more information.
