BookMyShow App Now Redesigned With Whole New Amazing Features

Want to book a ticket for a movie or an event or a play? Also, want to grab some popcorns or soft drinks for that show, along with some impressive discounts? Well, BookMyShow, the India’s leading Online Entertainment Ticketing platform now has all of these in just one app. BookMyShow has recently rolled out their newly designed app with improved version as v5.0.7 for Android users. This new designed app comes with some impressive new features such as Split Booking, My Wallet, Mini Map as well as easy discoverability, personalized suggestions and faster bookings.

Well, the new BookMyShow App brings user an amazing experience. Some of its newly notable features that impresses us includes:

New UI Design with Easy Discoverability and Faster Checkout

BookMyShow has improved the user experience with a whole new design with easy discoverability of all the new features such as “Just For You” which provides personalized suggestions of movies, events, sports and trending trailers based on user behaviour, “Filters” which allow users to quickly choose prefered movie either by language or cinema and “Mini Maps” have been introduced to give the user a bird eye view of the full layout of the premises.

BookMyShow has made sure that the booking flow for events and movies is made simpler and linear by reducing the steps. User can now be able to choose different categories and price points within the same screen. Not just, the logo of the app appears to be redesigned with a new color, well that reminds me of Instagram 😛

User can now also have two options: M-Ticket or Box Office Pick Up

MyWallet

Like PayTM, OLA Money, BookMyShow also has launched their own MyWallet which allows user to add money and pay their share for the shows. User can now use a whole new “Split Booking” feature. Split Booking comes in the form of two modes: Split Tickets and Split Cost. The Split Tickets feature enable user to instantly share tickets with the entire movie going group while the Split Cost feature will do the math and split the cost between all the people going for the show.

Offers Listing, Foods and Beverages

User can avail for offers listed on Offers section. Offers are filtered on categories such as Card Payments, Wallets, Food & Beverages and more. BookMyShow app now enables user to pre-book their food and beverages at their own convenience even after successful completion of a movie ticket transaction. Also, the Food and Beverages may have discounted prices.

If Food & Beverages options is enabled in settings, user will be able to see the option while booking a ticket.

Videos, App Language and Payback

BookMyShow has added Videos section which includes trailers of movies, events or plays as well as BookMyShow exclusive Videos. Also, BookMyShow app can be viewed in 5 different languages: English (Default language), Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada. BookMyShow has added Payback feature which records loyalty points for each transaction done through BookMyShow. Both App Language Preference and Payback feature is available in Settings section.

Overall, the experience of the new app seems to be quiet impressive. Lets see what the user have to say about it. For now, the new App is now available for Android, but BookMyShow will soon roll out the update for iOS users too. Stay tuned for more updates.
