Huawei GX8 5.5-Inch Android Smartphone Announced [CES 2016]
Along with the MediaPad M2 10.0, Huawei also announced a new Android smartphone, the Huawei GX8 at CES 2016. The Huawei GX8 comes boasting impressive specifications including the fingerprint sensor security. According to Huawei, the Huawei GX8 fingerprint sensor delivers a 94 percent unlock success rate which means the phone can be accessed quickly and confidently. The Huawei GX8 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display (401 ppi) along with toughness of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Huawei GX8 features a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expandable upto 128GB using a microSD card slot.
As far as cameras are concerned, the GX8 comes with 13MP rear-facing camera along with Auto-focus and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers and video chats. Other specs includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Micro USB 2.0 support, Android 5.1 OS and a whopping 3,000 mAh battery. The Huawei GX8 will be available in three colors: gold, gray and silver at an effective price of $350 and will be available in US in the Q1 of 2016.
